In cooperation with TOGED, Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Copyright, Yıldız Technical University, YTU Yıldız TEKNOPARK, Hacettepe University, Hacettepe Teknokent, Bahçeşehir University Game Laboratory (BUG Lab), ODTÜ TEKNOKENT Animation Technologies and Game Development Center, The Game Circle and METU GATES The applications for the Kristal Piksel Video Game Awards, which were held, were extended to December 15 due to high demand.
The deadline for the applications to participate in the Kristal Piksel Video Game Awards, which has been held since 2012 with the aim of identifying and rewarding games with original intellectual property developed in Turkey, has been extended from 9 December to 15 December due to intense interest.
The Kristal Piksel Video Game Awards 2021 award ceremony will be held on December 25, 2021 at 16:00 at YTU Yıldız Technopark.
Turkey's Best Games Will Be Selected

Kristal Piksel aims to encourage the development of more local games by bringing game developers and digital games to the attention of the public and the industry in Turkey. In line with this goal, the applications will be evaluated by an elite jury consisting of important names from the gaming world, the media and the academic community.
Games; They will compete in a total of 11 categories, including the best mobile, PC, console, VR game of the year, the best audio art, the best narrative and the best visual art.
Developers who will apply to Kristal Piksel must have the intellectual property rights related to the game they specified in their application and the game must have been released on any platform between November 2, 2020 and December 9, 2021. The competition is open to Turkish developers operating at home or abroad and foreign developers residing in Turkey.
